Security that allows you to comfortably address the ball

So how was the round using the New Premium Red clubs?

Mr. Kanai
"It was great. Even though it was my first time using the clubs, I got used to them right away. The orthodox head shapes make them very comfortable to play with. Comfort is a very important element. If something feels wrong when you address the ball, you can't smoothly hit the ball. That can throw your swing off by making you put too much force in some part of your swing. With the New Premium Red clubs, you can address the ball quickly and take the club back right away. That sense of security is very important."

Mr. Mitamura
"I was also able to hit great shots right away. I was definitely a bit surprised. Listening to Mr. Kanai, I can understand why I got such good results. The ability to square the ball up comfortably is the reason why you don't have to strain when addressing the ball. That makes it possible to achieve a smooth swing."

Mr. Shimada
"It was definitely easy to address the ball. Also, I didn't feel like the driver was too long at all."

A comfortable swing with great rhythm

Mr. Mitamura
"My swing felt great when I actually tried out the clubs. Overall, the clubs are light, but you can also feel plenty of heaviness in the head. That makes it possible to concentrate your attention on the head movement, and helps align the movement of your body and the swing of your arms with the movement of the club."

Mr. Kanai
"Right. With lightweight and long clubs, you inadvertently end up wanting to swing from your hands. If you hold the club up on the grip, it feels like you can swing the club with a lot of strength. This creates a mistaken impression. It's not really that the club is easier to swing. It's just easier to swing from your hands. If you can feel the weight of the head, you have to bear down and use a lot of muscle to swing the club. In other words, even though they're lightweight, properly balanced clubs like the New Premium Red clubs make it easier for golfers to swing using their body, arms, and all of their muscles. This makes it possible to smoothly accelerate the club head from downswing to follow-through. Due to this movement and the shaft features that add further help, a higher level of acceleration can be felt. That's one secret to flight with the New Premium Red. Mr. Shimada, you were able to make the ball go a long way, but were you able to feel the acceleration of the club?"

Mr. Shimada
"The ball just flew on its own. The rhythm and tempo of my swing was good, so the finish felt great. For me, the major condition for a good shot is whether or not my swing feels good. When my swing feels good, I know right away that I've hit a good shot. My swing felt great with the New Premium Red clubs."

Flight trajectory from the New Premium Red clubs

Mr. Kanai
"That's a good thing to mention. A good swing is important. When your finish on a shot feels great, that's sound evidence that you've hit a great shot. Having a club that makes this possible is the first requirement for what makes a good club. And if the features of the club provide improved head speed, higher initial velocity, and an amount of spin on the ball that is just right, then there's no room for any complaints. I definitely thought that the New Premium Red clubs were that type of club."

Mr. Mitamura
"I'm usually not the kind of golfer who puts a lot of spin on the ball."

Mr. Kanai
"Does that mean you end up hitting a lot of shots that tend to drop?"

Mr. Mitamura
"Yes, depending on the club, that does happen sometimes. However, with the New Premium Red clubs, my shots had a long parabolic trajectory and stayed in the air a long time. For me, I clearly got a lot more flight on the ball."

Mr. Shimada
"I also felt like my shots stayed in the air a long time. Even if the ball looked like it was starting a downward trajectory, it would just kept going. That's definitely what I would call a high-flying trajectory."

Using a full set of New Premium Red clubs

Mr. Kanai
"A driver, fairway woods, and irons. All of the clubs show a high degree of consistency. When you hit your tee shot with the driver and when you aim for the green with the irons. Each club can be swung with the same timing and the same great feel."

Mr. Mitamura
"With me, there were a lot of cases where I used a fairway wood for second shots on long par 4 holes. It was, of course, easy to hit balls from the fairway, but even shots from the rough and on slopes were easy to hit. The sole shape is suited to various types of lies, and the head shape makes it easy to lift the ball. The fairway woods were also definitely useful clubs to have."

Mr. Shimada
"The irons also provide a lot of distance, too."

Mr. Kanai
"That leads into my main recommendation. I would encourage any golfer to use the New Premium Red clubs as a set. They can provide a great flow in your game. With the wedges included, a full set has a great feeling of uniformity to it, and you can really get the most enjoyment possible out of your game. Sending the ball down the fairway, aiming for the pin, and putting the ball in the hole. When I said that today's golf round was great, this was what I was talking about."
