Erina Hara, who entered into a club-use contract with PRGR starting from this season, quickly posted results with her new weapons of choice with a six under par to place 2nd at the Daikin Orchid Ladies Golf tournament – the opening tournament of the Japan LPGA tour.
Hara, who finished the first day in a tie for 6th at two under, scored one under par on the second day to move into 4th. On the final day of the tournament, she was in strong pursuit of the lead with a three under par performance that included six birdies and three bogies, but she fell short of the top spot by two strokes to finish in 2nd.
However, over the three days of the tournament, Hara stayed under par and maintained a high level of play. This was a great start leading into next week’s Yokohama Tire Golf Tournament PRGR Ladies Cup (3/20-3/22 Tosa Country Club) where Hara will be one of the host pros.
